Diwali celebrations at AlmaBay
The auspicious influence of Diwali festival lights up the eyes, warms up the hearts and sweetens the relations and emotions amongst family, friends and acquaintances. One of the most grandly, widely and spectacularly celebrated festival in India, it’s impossible to keep the festive cheer confined only to homes, family and friends. Diwali celebrations at work are abuzz with action, packed with gifts, games and fun events, with sweets and lights everywhere that’s just impossible to miss out on.
Keeping this festive spirit in mind AlmaBay had planned special celebration activities to mark the joyful occasion and bring in the festive environment. The event was held on Friday, 28th October, which was a mandatory “Ethnic Day” giving guys and gals the opportunity to flaunt their bright and colorful traditional wear.
The order of event that followed through the day was as follows:
What’s Diwali without light and color? Adding more brightness and peppiness to the occasion was the “Rangoli Competition”. It was an amazing and wonderful display of talent and color that transformed the place in to a beautiful canvas. Applauding all the participants for their colorful masterpieces and congratulating Kiranjeet Kaur for winning the competition.
There was a special slot for the talented ones to showcase their specialty by adding festive cheer to the near and dear ones. What better way to keep the party going!! And what a delightful performance by Mr. Jeevan and Ankit!!
There was no holding back the celebration, fun games and interesting activities continued through-out the day adding to the party spirit.
- “Music concert with a twist” guessing game with two teams. Guess the tune of the song played on the guitar. A well-deserved win Team A!
- Another fascinating activity!! Television is loaded with Indian advertisements, can you guess which advertisement this tag lines belongs to?
- “Tol Mol Ke Bol”, knack your brains and guess the price of the objects exhibited, person who bids the closet to the actual price wins the game. Mr. Rakesh amazed us by guessing the exact price of the item. Kudos to you Mr. Rakesh.
- Work your big guns Boys!! Entertaining for the participants as well as for the audience, “push up competition” was a great hit and so was the winner. This award was bagged by CEO/Founder, Mr. Vishal Sood.
The fun didn’t end there. Cake cutting ceremony was organised for members who had their birthdays in October and also for those who had completed their first work anniversary with AlmaBay. The day that ended on such a high note is sure to keep the hearts warm through this winter and keep the festive cheer going.
